Gun Smith Arms Permit to carry class is a MN BCA (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) approved class & is certified to be a MN permit to Carry class. After completing the class you will get a Certificate that states you took the State of MN required class which includes a Live Fire portion of the class & you are able to go to your County Sheriff and apply for your Permit to Carry card. The cost of this class is $80 and includes everything needed to get your Permit to Carry certificate to apply for your permit.
Gun Smith Arms only uses NRA or USCCA Certified Pistol Instructors as well as Certified Range Officers. The Gun Smith Arms Permit to carry class has a Price of $80 and this also INCLUDES SHOOTING one of our pistols / handguns and the ammo required for the class completion. So, no worries if you don't have a handgun yet, because you will be shooting one of our pistols and shooting our ammo at the class. We don't charge extra for using our pistols our ammo or make you have to pay a third party shooting range for the Live Fire shooting portion of the class... $80 is the TOTAL & we do the class right at our address including the shooting/Live Fire portion of this class!
The Permit to Carry class takes roughly 3-4 hours from start to finish & that includes the shooting portion as well. The time length of the class really depends on how many students are in the class.
We set up classes every couple weeks., usually 1-2 times a month. If you want to get on the list for notices of when the next class is, please text us your name and contact number at 651-497-5146 & we will get you signed up for the Class text we send out whenever we set up the next class.
